RETRO HI-TEA

Woo Hoo .. me and Nina were at my office Retro Hi-Tea Party (ladies only) .. and yes you got it right .. psychadelic baby ..

I went with top to toe flower-power hippie looks albeit a skirt replacing those famous wide pants with platform sandals. Nina opt for the Saloma look complete with the beehive hairpiece ..

The room were filled with merriment and laughter, from almost 100 guests whom braved the weather to be there (it was windy and drizzling outside :p) ..

I LOVE 3D MOVIES

Forgot to upload this blog earlier. Too busy

Anyway, 3 Fridays ago I watched Ice Age 3 : Dawn of the Dinaosour ... in 3D. Oh yeah .. it totally and definitively spoiled my taste for animated movies now, .. 3D is the only way to watch the movie at best ...

As for the storyline, its almost same-0, same-0, the characters retained their spectacular and colourful personality .. but Mama Rex rock .. see how she bravely smackdown the fearful Rodney (if I remember well the name of that gigantic alligator).

And of course, not forgetting the two cute squirrels, but I think think their cuteness was strained away with too many romantic and heart-shaped tails entertwining here and there ... a good distractor though ... :)

My ratings - 3 Dimensional phenomenal fun .. thats the only way to watch this movie. Hey, you get to kick yourself thinking the characters going to jump out of the screen and onto your face (had not had such shock for quite sometime) .. it was pure fun ... and going UP is next in line hehehe .. anyone to join me ..

THE BRIGHTEST STAR OF ALL

The Planet Venus is the second closest planet to the sun. It is located between our Earth and Mercury. It is named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty. (dalam B. Melayu dipanggil Kejora).

Venus is covered with thick clouds that create a greenhouse effect that makes it very hot. Venus has no moons.

Venus is the brightest object in the sky besides our Sun and the Moon. It is also known as the morning star because at sunrise it appears in the east and and evening star as it appears at sunset when it is in the west. It cannot be seen in the middle of the night.

A Venusian day is 243 Earth days and is longer than its year of 225 days. Oddly, Venus rotates from east to west (retrograde - opposite to that of earth). If you were on Venus, the Sun would rise in the west and set in the east.

Facts about Planet Venus
* Diameter: 12,100 km. It is about 1040km smaller in diameter than Earth
* Temperature: Ranges from 900F+/- 50F (about 500°C +/- 32°C) at the surface
* Distance from Earth: At its closest, Venus is 41,840,000 km away
* Atmosphere: Carbon dioxide (95%), nitrogen, sulfuric acid, and traces of other elements
* Surface: A rocky, dusty, waterless expanse of mountains, canyons, and plains, with a 200-mile river of hardened lava
* Rotation of its axis: 243 Earth days (1 Venusian Day)
* Rotation around the Sun: 225 Earth days
* Magnetic Field: No
